Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats or oat flour
  • 1 cup dates (150g)
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tbsp nut butter
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • (optional) If using dried dates, leave to soak in a bowl of boiling water for about 5 minutes to soften.
  • Place oats in a blender or food processor and blitz until fine to create oat flour.
  • Gently drain the softened dates and add to the blender along with the remaining ingredients. Pulse until fully combined into a dough consistency.

  • Roll mixture into about 12 balls. Store in an airtight container (refrigerate for a firmer truffle texture.)
